This re development of Charlemont House in Dublin City Centre, overlooking the Grand Canal, offers flexible working spaces in a fully temperature controlled building.

This 3 block building offers nearly 86,000 square feet of office space.

ATC Systems Ltd were awarded the contract for the supply and commissioning of the MCC’s and Trend BMS by Parr Group and are delighted to be partnering them the delivery of this excellent city centre office space.

The redevelopment will incorporate green technology and design, ensuring an energy efficient and environmentally friendly building, the building is set to obtain LEED Gold Certification.

Block A & B and Block C have 2 separate heating and cooling systems. The 3 blocks are heated from LPHW boilers and chilled water system, which delivers heating / cooling to serve the Fan Coil Units and Air Handling Units providing air conditioning to the floors.

The Fan Coil Units (FCU) are each controlled by Bacnet FCU controllers connected to the Trend BMS using IQ4NC controllers. The FCU’s and are configured to provide the tenant with the flexibility to operate them as open plan i.e. multiple units within a zone or single units offering individual control within a cellular office with mode of operation simply controlled from the BMS front end. The air handling units are fully controlled by the BMS to maximise the energy efficiency with delivering ventilation to the building.

A Trend 963 supervisor is provided which provides access operating parameters and status of all the primary plant and FCU’s which are accessed through floor layouts depicting the FCU’s on each floor.
