Victoria Gate, Woking

England

This new city centre office development in Woking offers flexible working spaces in a fully air conditioned building.

This is a 6 storey building offering 66,415 square feet of office space.

ATC Systems Ltd where awarded the contract for the supply, electrical installation and commissioning of the MCC’s and Trend BMS by Michael Nugents Ltd and are delighted to have partnered them in delivering this splendid development.

The building is connected to the district heating and cooling system supplied by Thamesway which delivers heating / cooling to serve the Fan Coil Units and Air Handling Units providing air conditioning to the floors.

The Fan Coil Units (FCU) are each controlled by Bacnet FCU controllers connected to the Trend BMS using IQ4NC controllers. The FCU’s and are configured to provide the tenant with the flexibility to operate them as open plan i.e. multiple units within a zone or single units offering individual control within a cellular office with mode of operation simply controlled from the BMS front end. The air handling unit is packaged with on board control system which is interfaced with the BMS via Bacnet.

A Trend 963 supervisor is provided which provides access operating parameters and status of all the primary plant and FCU’s which are accessed through floor layouts depicting the FCU’s on each floor.

All BMS outstations and interface controllers are connected onto a BMS IT network which provides the building with reliable and robust communications and can be migrated over to the tenant system if so desired.

The project was successfully completed on time, with handover achieved in March 2018.
