Queens University Belfast: School Of Biological Sciences

This project co-locates and consolidates the School of Biological Sciences. The School is primarily based in the Medical Biology Centre, while its major research centre – the Institute for Global Food Security (IGFS) – operates from the David Keir Building and the Northern Ireland Technology Centre. The IGFS is a world leader in efforts to provide the growing global population with a sustainable, safe, and secure supply of high-quality food. Supporting its effective operation and growth is of major importance to the University and a key asset to the wider Northern Ireland economy. The new building is constructed on the site of the former Science Library.
