Offering specialist inpatient accommodation, the eight-storey, 30,000 m² Acute Services Block forms part of the Trust’s wider development plans. ATC Systems Ltd provided a complex yet user-friendly BEMS system, motor control centres, and integration throughout the building, which includes 177 individual en-suite bedrooms, inpatient wards, an emergency department, isolation rooms, nuclear medicine, a diagnostic imaging department, and specialist acute assessment wards. Also included are a kitchen and dining area, staff changing facilities, a mortuary, and links to the existing inpatient ward block.
